My long distance realtionship tale.

So, originally being from Minnesota, I went up there to visit last month, and met a girl named Jamie at a bar. She gave me her number but we didn't talk much while I was up there.

I got back down here to KY and decided to give her a call, and we hit it off instantly. A few days later, and we're dating. We had several conversations on the telephone that went over 5 hours, and even though we couldn't see each other face to face, I could tell there was a deep connection.

Well, for the past week, she's been ignoring me, giving me excuses when I try to call, and most of the time not even answering. So I'm just about to show up to work Saturday night, and I get a call from her number. Excited, I answer the phone to hear a man's voice who informs me that he is Jamie's husband and that she's 3 months pregnant with this kid. Yeah. Seriously.

She calls me later to confirm it, and says that they were in the process of getting divorced, but now that she's pregnant and even though she does love me, she wants to be with him for the kid and they are getting back together. (all this happens on the day before my birthday, btw)

Fast forward to yesterday morning, she calls me up and says she wants me back. I told her to fuck off because she's a liar and I can never trust her again, and to never call me again.

So yeah, that was an experience.

Thanks. Yeah, it was messed up, but I'm glad I did it. People have been bugging me for months that I "need a girlfriend," and even though it didn't work out, it was a nice confidence boost.

You did the right thing by cutting her loose. What would happen down the road if the husband came calling and she went running. Just the fact that she lied to you and didn't tell you she was married is reason enough to get rid of her. Lose that number quickly, I myself would rather be alone than to be saddled with all that baggage.
