Were you a clean child or a dirty child?

When you were a child, were you the messy, playing-in-the-mud type; or were you clean and tidy?

We had a big sandpile so we were always getting that in our clothes if that counts, and I remember when I was little I wanted white shoes to wear and my mom would not get them because she always said how dirty they'd be and they'd never be clean; but I don't think that was just aimed at me, that was just in general. It never took long for me to get dirty and they could usually tell beacuse I'd either have black gunk gathering under my neck or on my elbows.

I was super clean. I used to wonder how some kids could walk around with dirty hands. My parents did not like for me to get dirty, but then it did end up being my preference as well.

I wasn't afraid to get dirty, but I didn't like to stay that way. I have a cousin who I grew up with....we would be playing outside all day and he would get mad when my grandmother would tell him to take a bath. Like seriously, he hated washing, lol. I wasn't like that. I didn't really play in the mud, I've made mud pies before, but I would never suggest it. My room was pretty much clean.

Average. Not a dainty girly girl with clean white dresses, but not a dirty ball playing tomboy either.

I was a pretty clean child.

I was always pretty clean. As a kid and today.

I played hard and got dirty. My mother once bemoaned that I could get grass stains reading a book. I didn't put up fight when it was time to bath 'cause that was play time too!

We were one of the first famlies to move into our house in the suburban development when I was 8. The rest of the place was still basically a construction site so my friends and I played the same type of game but we just used the large clumps of earth (dirt bombs) without the need to pre-package our ammunition. We were natural.

I was a pretty messy kid. I liked to play in the dirt and do all the dirty, tomboy things and my room was always a mess, I was far from neat and tidy. But as an adult I'm very clean.
