Tonight TCM paid homage to the Civil War with the airing of "Glory". Surely, one of the best films not only about the North and South, but about America. Poignant and very believable.

Cast excellent all around, with perhaps, one of Denzel's finest performances. Peerless cinematography. Unforgettable scenes, especially Ft. Wagner.

Followed by a very long, but absorbing "Gettysburg"

ITA. Glory is Denzel's finest performance, and the ending of the film still haunts me.

i seen this movie once, they showed it in my history class when i was in 8th grade.. i dont remember too much.
