The shows future singlehandedly rests on her. It was as boring & mundane as the original MP was before she joined the first time.

Exactly, I think she was originally signed on for 6 or 8 episodes but they just might keep her around if the ratings go up.

Is the show even worth watching? I was gonna watch but I kept forgetting about it. Now I kinda don't wanna bother cuz I figure I missed 1/2 the season & won't know what's even going on.

Its worth a look to see if you will like it or not. I am sure when it comes back in March they will have some kind of re-cap. Some of the characters are interesting, some are not. Heather Locklear on the show makes it worth watching.
