One room and I like it like that. I have lived in the same apartment layout for my last 4 moves (these efficiencies are very common here on Miami Beach) and I would look for the same if I move again. I hate cleaning house - the less the better.

Two bedrooms (but one of the rooms is extremely small, so you might as well say it's one bedroom), living room, kitchen, one bathroom and that's it. No attic, no garage. I live in a two family house, I'm downstairs and the landlord is upstairs. It's roomy enough. My living room is big enough to entertain. When I move, I'll be looking for the about the same size or a little bigger.

2 BR, 1 3/4 baths, living room, dining room and a very small kitchen. I think it's about 1,000 SF not counting the 6'x15' screened in back porch.
