    Norm's wife Vera on Cheers. She was heard but not seen. It wasn't a sitcom but you never saw Lt. Columbo's wife until the spin off, but not on "Columbo". For years, Archie Bunker told us about Stretch Cunnigham and they finally snuck James Cromwell in after about 6 seasons. "Crazy Rhoda Zimmerman" on The Odd Couple.
