    Some of these actors were replaced by the new "young and beautiful". Some have a tough time transitioning to mature roles because of their moderate or non existing acting skills.

    People like Travolta and Will Smith will be current as long as they are moneymakers. It fascinates me that guys like them and Bruce Willis can still open a movie and people will see it. As long as an actor's movies make money, they will never be out of style.

    I think someone like a Beau Bridges is over...if he ever happened at all. I think Michelle Pfeiffer is over. Gwyneth is over, Wynona Ryder is over. Jessica Lange is smart. She was a beauty, but now she is fine with doing character roles since her looks are gone. Susan Sarandon is almost over. After doing that Lifetime TV movie, Sigourney was on her way out, but lucked up at the last minute with Avatar. That brought her 2 or 3 more decent size budget flicks.

    Matthew Broderick, in the 80s, he rocked, but in more recent years, Inspector Gadget, Deck the Halls.... no just pathetic. Also, Kevin Dillon, I see him in The Blob (1988) when he just rocked, and then in Hotel for Dogs, and I'm thinking WHAT the hell happened?

    Absolutely agree about Mel Gibson. May not sound nice but I'm glad he got bounced from The Hangover sequel because I liked the first one & plan to see the second one. I have trouble watching anything he's in now, even passing on the movie running on HBO at the moment.

    I think Stallone & most of the cast of The Expendables is done done done. An "action hero" has a shelf life & it expired a long time ago for them.
