    Alvin and the Chipmunks Alvin-the-chipmunk

Ever watch the Chipmunks when you were a kid? From what I remember, there were 3 different series....the Alvin Show of the 60's, Alvin & The Chipmunks of the 80's....then The Chipmunks Go to the Movies of the 90s. The last series stunk.

The 60's one was rarely shown in my time, only as the cartoon features on Weinerville...but the 80s one was on every day at 8 o' clock on Cartoon Network, I would try and hide out during school so I could watch it, I liked most of those episodes, and there were rare times during its run that it was one cartoon for the whole show, usually they had two stories together. Too bad that's not still on TV.

When I was a kid, the local station played both The Alvin Show and Alvin In the Chipmunks. The former would run in the morning, while the latter ran in the afternoon. I remember disliking the 60s version, but I think it's funnier in retrospect. Alvin and Dave are more snarkly and short-tempered in it.

Yep yep. One of my staple cartoons back in the day. Of course I grew up on Alvin in the 80's. Theodore was my favorite.
