| I was reading up on the L&O franchise, and it's been theorized that New York Undercover (which aired on FOX in the middle 1990s) is part of the L&O 'universe.' It too being produced by Dick Wolf. Did anyone ever watch the show? I remember when it aired on Thursday nights, after Martin and Living Single; it was 'Must See TV' for Black audiences and was one of my favorite shows when I was a teenager. | |

| I LOVED New York Undercover. I even watched it after they killed Torres off the show. It wasn't as good as before, but it wasn't bad either IMO. Thursday nights, I was always in the house. They still show re-runs on TV One and I catch them whenever I can. | |

That was a tough episode to watch. Them killing Torres just ruined everything (but the way they killed off the white cop was downright brutal.) Then Tommy from Martin joined the cast, and it was over.

| I watched one episode in the beginning because I'm friends with Malik Yoba, but I just could not get into it. I guess if I see it playing on a rerun, I may watch. | |

He is a good actor and they could've developed it a lot more had they let it continue. But the ratings were in the tank so I guess they decided to pull the plug early.

| New York Undercover used to be the shit. With Junior from My Wife & Kids (as "G") and the jazz club at the end. | |

He is one of the nicest people I know and I knew him way BEFORE he became famous. I don't think he's changed at all. Well, I wasn't there when your friend met him so who knows how that really went.

| I remember a number of years ago in the early 2000's, it aired on one of the cable channels. I think Bravo/Sleuth. I liked the show but the final season was terrible. Didn't Williams and Moreno start dating after Torres was killed? | |
