I would not buy from a neighbor I might go to a yard sale somewhere else. I have been to a few most of the time I just browse.

I love yard sales.
I don't really like going to those held by neighbors though. I feel obligated to buy something. Like one time my friend's daughter was staying with me and we walked over to a neighbor's sale. Knowing she has two daughters older than my friend's girl, I asked if they had anything in her size. She said yes and then I started to look and it was priced just crazy. Then she acted surprised that I only took a couple things.

I love yard sales! I'm glad the weather is warming up so they'll start popping up again. I like to go to yard sales at both neighbors and strangers houses. It's fun to browse and I do buy quite a number of things every summer. I hate when people put outrageous prices on stuff, I mean, nobody's going to buy it for that price and they're never going to get rid of it that way.

I've browsed, but never actually bought. A friend of mine had a yard sale a few years ago, and the night before it I bought something she was planning to tag. That's the closest I have ever come to it.

I haven't been to one yet. I know that some people can walk away with a hidden treasure but I've never felt the urge to go hunting.
