| Since today is Friday, the 13th, I thought I'd ask. What's your opinion of the *original* Friday the 13th film? For some reason, I only saw this once (I've seen the sequels and remake on cable a lot, but hardly the original film) and it was a very long time ago. I can't clearly recall the story. | |

Nope it was his mother Mrs. Voorhees. Jason appeared at the end as a little boy in the lake pulling the boat over in the girls dream. | |

| I didn't think it was as scary because the true Jason wasn't in that one. But story wise, it's better than most of the others. | |

| well it took place in NJ and growing up here near the woods it was terrifying to me! lol The story was about a bunch of camp counselors who start getting killed. Eventually Mrs. Voorhees tells the story of her young son Jason. She was the cook at the camp and the camp counselors were off having sex instead of watching the kids. Jason drowned, and the camp was closed. A decade later when they reopened the camp, she starts killing the counselors. She starts talking in a child's voice like she has multiple personalities saying "kill her mommy, kill her" | |
