Were the 90's that great?

Every video on Youtube of a song from the 90's or music blog that talks about something 90's related, people swoon about how great a time it was. Was it really that good a decade? I don't recall it being that great really. I remember wanting to help it pack at the end of 1999.

It wasn't anything spectacular.

I think a lot of it was better than now, especially the media: better shows, better cartoons, better music, better movies, also better toys, MUCH better toys, 'It's Nerf! Or Nothin'!' better advertisements, back then Kool-Aid ads were actually fun, he could draw in kids by the thousands and remember those Koosh balls? I don't CARE if Big Red is sweet and not sweet as in great taste but Good Samaritan-like Sweet, no no no, that's not what sold us on Kool-Aid as kids, this is:



Of course I'm very biased to the 90s because that's when I was a kid and having some of the best times of my life, but from my own experience I think it was better to be a kid in the 90s than it is to be one today. I feel sorry for this generation because a lot of them don't know what they're missing out on.

I was a child in the '90's and I had a pretty good time and had a happy childhood, but as for the '90's in general, what was going on in the world, eh, it's nothing to get too excited about. It just doesn't seem like a very interesting decade.

I had some good times in the 90s. Like every decade, it had it's good years and not so good years.

From 1990-1996.....hell the fuck yeah. Best six years of my life.

I remember thinking that the 90s sucked compared to the 80s, but there's no question that the 90s is better than the 2000s/2010s (thus far.)

At the time I didn't know it but looking back I say they were. Especially mid 90's.

I don't really know. I was a teenager at the time, so I don't know what I could really compare it to. I was involved in my own things - school, dancing, swimming, running, and so on.
