Hi all,

Britney Spears has got to be one of the most untalented, over-appreciated singers in pop history. When I was 11, I bought her "...Baby One More Time" album and that's all she's been doing the last 10+ years. There's been no change in her work, no growth, no creativity. She has no singing or dancing skills, either. With her mediocrity, I'm surprised she can sell enough albums to feed herself.

Is has nothing to do with her music. Her career is based on her looks and drama-filled life.

When I was 10 I got the other one, what was it, Oops I Did it Again?, not something I openly admit, this is the first time I have admitted it since I was 12, and that was the extent of that for me as well.

And when I read your thread title, I thought you meant she's so stupid it's a wonder she even knows how to feed herself, and I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that one either.

Honest to goodness I thought the very same thing!

Epitome of an artist straight off the assembly line. She can dance a little bit, has a few catchy songs but she's definitely nothing special. I'm still baffled at her popularity. Well.......not really.

I never thought of it that way! You and CeCe must have very similar minds, haha. But yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised if Britney didn't know how to actually feed herself either - I would say it's a plausible prediction for the near future, tee-hee, lol. I can just see it in a headline for a tabloid

She has people for that. Forks are confusing.

i dunno how she lasted this long either, to me when she first came out, i thought she was gonna be like a debbie gibson or tiffany, here today gone tomorrow. i dont get the hype surrounding her... she cant sing nor dance.

Makes you wonder how much of her stupidity is actually planned...like that time she shows up and gets out of the car with no underwear on or ANYTHING on but her blouse...what the hell? I mean with all the people she's got around her was there REALLY nobody pointing out the obvious 'you're half naked, literally!'?

Britney, in the middle of last decade, came *extremely* close to going the way of O-Town. Those K-Fed years seemed like her career casket, then out of no where she makes this odd return. Her performance last night at the Billboard awards was wretched. But she has an established, blindly devoted fanbase, who will snap up the sounds of her burping as soon as it hits iTunes, so there you go.

I have been wondering the same thing myself for a long time now.

I went thru a Brit faze for like 10 mins when her 1st cd was out but after CRAZY I moved on and never went back.

I hope they re-upholstered those car seats and burned the old fabric, after she sat on them without any underwear on. . . .
