Hi all,

I've always had terrible, dreadful stage fright. I remember when I was in school and had to present something to the class, I couldn't relax until it was finished. I always volunteered to go first so that I could get it over with. I even took a drama class in high school and had to do a monologue. The drama class was my 6th period of the day (out of 8 periods) and I was sick all day until that class was over.

Do you have stage fright? Or are you able to get through it relatively well when you have had to speak in front of people?

In high school I always did OK on oral reports, and as a disident to saying the pledge of allegiance by rote, I sometimes found myself in the spotlight addressing the student council. You sort of learn your lines and jump in.

After a while I guess you get used to it. I am not the organizer but have followed, marching in protest and occasionally being in front of a camera (I hate how I sound recorded - but that too is common). I have been on panels, either with some civil rights topic or work related where I had to address a large room. I can do it with no problem so I guess in that sense I don't have stage fright. IDK about giving an actual performance where I had to learn lines - that would scare me. But I can and do teach classes to large groups of ppl.

What we nudists do is imagine everyone out there wearing clothes. Blue Cool

I definitely don't prefer to do it.

The thought of it doesn't make me a wreck, but I sound shakey and I am not excellent at it.
