One of my favorite movies as a kid, and I still love it, and I just finished reading the book it was based on, Alias Madame Doubtfire, also very good.

This was my introduction to Robin Williams, this is what I always think of him as.

Very funny film! It's been years since I've seen it, but I really like it. I love near the end when both Daniel's family and Daniel's boss are at the same restaurant and he has to keep changing from himself to Mrs. Doubtfire. Lordy, no wonder he got confused!

I was just watching it today - it was on the PBS channel while I was setting up my new flat screen TV. Robin Wms is sometimes too frenetic for my liking, but that is his schtick. For a comedian he has taken on some pretty heavy dramatic and villain roles in his old age.

I first encountered him as Mork the wisecracking alien on TV.

Agreed, I LOVE it when he's doing all the women on the telephone, "Get back in your cell! Don't make me get the hose! Hello?"

Also, I don't know how many people know this, but when he's wearing the cake as a mask and it melts in the woman's coffee, his whole dialogue from that point is adlibbed, it wasn't planned, the lights got too hot so he just went with it. VERY talented. "I am NOT a Muslim!" "Ah! I'm Norman Bates!" Very funny.
