How is your driving record? When's the last time you got a ticket?

Considering that most of my travels on the road are on a bicycle I am not at too much risk of getting tickets.

However, I do sometimes drive (drove an SUV around Missouri for three weeks on vacation). I am a "safe driver." Says so on my license. Last ticket while driving was a couple decades ago.

(I did get a ticket for being hit by a car while on my bike, but the lawyer got rid of that shit. I was not in the wrong - the insurance settled with me and I paid $70 to beat a $40 ticket out of that money. It was the principle. )

I have a pretty good driving record. I've been driving for about four years and have only gotten one ticket, a speeding ticket, in February 2009.

The last moving violation I can remember was a speeding ticket (second) I got in the early 90s. Had it reduced from 4 points to 2 so it was off my record in a year. You better not fucking jinx me Chris!

Yes, it did!

I should have never been given the ticket. I limped into court a week later but the asshole judge noted the asshole cop did not record that a witness at the scene stated that the woman hitting me was at fault. (The insurance co. felt the witness was credible).

So I hired one of the ticket clinic lawyers at $70 to take it from there. The difference being $30 more than just rolling over like some bitch and letting them stick it to me like some apparently would.

The driver's insurance co. settled with me for $2,500 so I felt at the time I could afford the extra $30 to prove a point.

I got a parking ticket for 120 bucks about a year ago, other than that my record is clean.

i just got a speeding ticket in march, had to pay 180 for defensive driving, so i wont get points taken off my license.

July 2005. I used to average one speeding ticket a year. I'm doing pretty damn good.

I'm doing pretty good now it's been over a year since my last speeding ticket but a few years ago I was doing bad. I got like 3 tickets in a month and was suspended for a little while.

I have had 2 speeding tickets. The first one was in 2005 and the second one was in 2007.
