    Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
    The Rains Came
Hell's Kitchen, the LAST Dead End Kids' movie before they became the more lighter hearted East Side Kids, made the last at the requests of people who found the movies too dark and upsetting.

"Mr. Smith Goes to Washington", for sure. Jimmy should've won the Oscar that year instead of the guy from "Mr. Chips"!

Gone With the Wind, easily. But 1939 was probably the best year for movies ever.

But Some Like It Hot, the one with Jack Lemmon & Marilyn Monroe? That came in the 1950's.
