no, i apolozige and hang up, if i dial the wrong the number. I dont answer my phone if its from a number i dont recognize. if it's important they can leave a voice mail, an i'll call them back

When I was young and just got to New Orleans, I shared an apartment with another guy named Rob. Also we had a friend named Rob who stayed with us on weekends since he lived out of town and had a part time job.

I got a call from a woman just started talking to Rob and we chatted for a while. Thot it was my aunt, but no, it was Rob's aunt.

Neither way have I but my wife has answered a few wrong numbers and stayed on the phone with them for a few minutes.

Not really. If I ever did I doubt it lasted longer than 2 minutes.

. I remember dialing the wrong number and some dude answered the phone and told me it was the wrong number. I said okay, thank you and hung up. He texted me about 5 mins later talking bout "you have a sexy voice. What is your name?" This actually happened to me twice. I engaged the second person and ignored the first.

A random person called my apartment on the night before my friend and I were throwing a huge party at a mutual friend's house. So, we ended up inviting the guy. (stupid, I know) He came, and he brought all these little wooden bug decorations to sell. It was really random and pretty funny.

My son's cousin Jared was here one day and wanted to call his dad to ask if he could spend the night. The guy (not Jared's dad, as Jared thought) went along with it, and told him he could stay. They talked for a while about what they both did that day. The whole time he thought it was his dad. I ended up hitting redial when I wanted to call over there to see what time he needed to be home, and of course, got that guy, and the guy told me he pretended to be Jared's dad because he thought it was funny.

No - I usually just apologize if I get the wrong number and I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I did have one idiot who started calling me as 6:15 AM, then again and hour later, then 15 mins later, then 10, then 5, thinking I was a business. He left a long, rambling message about trying to get the batteries to work. I ignored him because I wasn't impressed that he'd woken me up at 6AM.

Red - I hope your son's cousin's Dad wasn't worried about him when the boy didn't come home. Weird thing for someone to do but I do remember reading a story about a runaway who called the wrong number and spoke to someone she thought was her Dad. She was planning on committing suicide and had called her family to say good-bye, or something like that, and the person talked her out of it. I cna't remember all of the details, but it was a nice story of the wrong number being dialed.

No, he was fine since I had did the redial thing, and figured it all out. So, then we did call his dad. Funny thing, Jared was so unsettled by the whole thing,after we figured it ouw, he had us drive him home that night anyway!
