When you have too much left over, do you freeze it or dump it? My girlfriend freezes food, and keeps them for entirely too long IMO. She tried to offer me frozen spaghetti from two months ago. No thanks.

I might freeze part of Thanksgiving dinner because there's usually a LOT of food. But only for a week or less. After that if it hasn't been eaten, it's gone.

I may refrigerate it for a few days, but if I haven't eaten it up by then, then I dump it. Must have not been THAT good....else I would have eaten it up. Frozen food is stale, the water/ice dilutes the taste.

If its leftover food, I don't freeze it, I keep it for a couple of days and if its not gone, I throw it out. The only food I freeze is stuff that is not cooked yet.

Maybe with lasagna every now and then. As long as it hasn't been hanging around for months it tastes fine.

I do sometimes, but need to do it more. I got a nice foodsaver for Christmas and do need to use it more by cooking extra with intent to freeze.
