    For affection, yes. For a job, yes.

    I was elected for a position I competed for. I was treasurer for a motocross facility. Best job I never got paid for!

    Yes - lots of stuff of sports/dance type stuff. More recently - yes - for my current job and I'll continue competing, as I'm trying to find a new one

    Not really. I know I've competed in games and things like that but nothing really worth mentioning. Unless you wanna count the two Bahamas cruises I've won by just dropping my name in the box at the Chinese restaurant.

    Yes. I've competed in a singing contest before and won. And I constantly compete for promotion (every year) since I'm in the military.
