If you've ever seen the 3rd Rambo movie, and you read this book....you will see very FEW similarities...I don't know how or why but the entire story was almost completely rewritten with the novelization of the movie, about like the difference in the movie Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and its novelization...and between the two I'd say the book is better, though I'm still about 20 pages away from the ending so I can't say yet if Trautman lives or dies in this version, but still, this is one hell of a book especially given it's just a movie tie-in.
