Who do you think are some underrated actors of the moment, and also of all time?

Of the moment I can't think of any, but previously, Lenita Lane who starred in a few 50's horror movies. She was an amazing actor and she was my first exposure as a child to a strong female character on screen; but for some reason nobody remembers her, but she was great in The Mad Magician and The Bat, both starring Vincent Price, and both done by her husband Crane Wilbur.

Just about all of the ones I follow.

M. Emmet Walsh - Raising Arizona, Cannery Row
Jennifer Jason Leigh - Easy Money, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle
Laurie Metcalf - Rosanne, Uncle Buck
Bryan Cranston - Malcolm in the Middle, Breaking Bad
Jonathan Banks - 48 Hours, Breaking Bad

Here's a few people I can think of:

1. Ray Milland (the ultimate culprit in "Dial 'M' for Murder"!)

2. Burt Lancaster (Very famous in his time, but I think his talented was overlooked because of his body.)

3. Teresa Wright

4. Shirley Boothe

I tought Burt and Shirley were very good together in Come Back Little Sheba although I wasn't crazy about the film as a whole.

Richard Farnsworth, The Grey Fox (wonderful film), The Natural. Loved him in everything he was in.

Alan Rickman. Always good. Hyacinth Girl's Buddy Christ reminded me because he was The Metatron (in Dogma). Loved the scene where he tells Bethany how he had to explain his fate to the boy named Jesus. He was in another not well known flick, Judas Kiss, with Emma Thompson. I love their chemistry.

I agree, I thought they worked very well together too and I liked the film as a whole as well. I thought Terry Moore did a good job in her role too, even though she was a complete cock-tease.

George Clooney. I think he's about the closest we've come to Cary Grant since Cary Grant.
