No and especially not for Nike. I wore their running shoes in the early 70s and they were great but over the years I found there was an inverse relationship between price and quality. The higher the price, the lower the quality. Plus they're ugly.

I was thinking the same thing. One hundred and ninety-five dollars for a blue shoe, with orange interior and laces?

I could see if they were made in the U.S. in a union shop but what are their labor costs in Asia?

Well, the Air Maxes I have are similar to that....and I spent $140. Those colors are fugly though....so no, I wouldn't buy that particular shoe.

I spent $120 for leather boots. $195 for...that? Hell no. They are out of their mind.

Yeah they do come in more colors than that....but no, I'm not paying nearly $200 for a pair of shoes. I go no higher than $120 (and I think that's so outrageous that I rarely do that.)

My limit for shoes is much less than that. I am not big on going over $80.
