Well let's see, I'm not married to some piece of shit, I don't already have a 1-year-old and I'm not pregnant a second time either, so yeah I'd say I'm MUCH better off than she was at my age.

Ummmm, I have no idea. They made more money than I do when they were my age but they also had two kids and were married. Hell, I guess they were better.

I'm in a great place, but I don't think a better place if were talking money wise when they were my age. My dad is pretty loaded and my mom reaped rewards from the divorce.

I'm gainfully employed and with no kids so I'd say I'm doing at least 50% better than my parents were when they were my age.

I'm in the same economic class and circumstance they were back then, and like them I have three kids. But I get more points for kicking drinking sooner, and I am much more active in my kids lives. So now that I think about it, yes I'm doing better.

I'm in much better shape physically because we have great medical care and my parents didn't. We are a lot better off financially too. I know we are happier.

My parents were married, no kids at my age. I don't really know what life was like for them back then, but Dad made good money, so they were not hurting. Not sure what our differences would be other than I think I am happier than Mom probably was. But then again, she was living in Chicago, so maybe she was happier...

My parents are 12 years apart, so "at my age" is hard to judge. I don't think I'm better off financially....probably about the same as them. I'm better off physically and have a much better relationship with my children than my parents did.
