    Did your parents ever pressure you into a certain life decision (education, career, relationship, living arrangements, etc., etc.) that was the polar opposite of what you wanted to do, or try to?

    My mom really didn't, but my father always pushed me to go to college and get my degree. He was very disappointed when I dropped out. He still eggs me to get it finished, but he's not as much of a go hard about it like he used to be. However though, that's not something that I'm opposed to doing. I'm definitely going to get my degree. In that regard, my folks never pushed me to do something I just truly didn't want to do. Mom especially.
