| Scoops & SpoilersPreviews for the week of 06-Jun-2011 by Carol Banks Weber
- Nora has a hard time coming to grips that her son Matthew is clinically brain-dead. It’ll be even harder for her to let his heart go to Clint. If it comes to that.
- Bo asks Rex about Clint, prompting Rex to answer that Clint’s best chances is a healthy heart donation.
- Bo and Rex confer on Clint’s chances, as well as Matthew’s good, strong heart. Nora doesn’t like where this is heading and puts them on blast. They’re not going there, yet, though.
- There’s no way in hell Nora will allow her son’s heart to be placed inside Clint’s chest. That would mean she’d have to admit her son’s dying, beyond repair.
- Clint comes out with it to Natalie and Joey, about the real condition of his shaky health.
- Clint goes all Yoda on Natalie and Joey, counseling them to do whatever is in their power to win back their lost loves, John and Kelly.
- Starr goes to see about Matthew at the hospital, when she sees Destiny and Matthew have become an item.
- Starr tries to tend to a wretched Destiny, but it’s no use. Without Matthew, her world is empty. But wait, maybe Matthew left her a piece of him in her uterus.
- Destiny agonizes over whether she and Matthew created life.
- Starr can’t stop dwelling on what happens to and is happening to Destiny, poor girl.
- Nate checks in with Dani about the situation, then hangs up, feeling nauseous about his role in Matthew’s near-demise.
- John and Kelly arrive at the conclusion that maybe their fun fling is over with. They don’t like going there.
- John feels himself yearning to console Natalie, whom he sees clobbered by Clint’s dying.
- Joey goes to Kelly to feel better about Clint and things.
- Rex takes up a major issue sternly with Clint, going at it again.
- Clint’s doctor prepares to ask Nora and Bo to make the ultimate sacrifice with their braindead boy, in order for his patient to live.
- Marty drops the psycho mode to be genuine with Todd about past wrongs and no-win situations.
- After hearing Marty out, an understanding, compassionate Todd begs Marty to burn rubber, that she’s been through enough turmoil, and this needs to end for her happy ending.
- Marty protests to Todd that she feels so badly for what’s gone down.
- Todd assures Marty he’ll take care of conveying the DNA truth to John about baby Liam.
- Joey tries to rattle the 411 on Marty from Todd.
- John and Brody barge in on Todd at his own place, acting like low-rent cops on patrol.
- Brody conducts a thorough ransack of Todd’s premises for any signs of Liam and Marty, as Tea flutters her hands because…
- … There’s her brother Tomas holding baby Liam at the pool house, like nothing’s wrong. That’s where John converges on Tomas to straighten
things out.
- John hands baby Liam safely to Brody, sending them straight to Natalie.
- Tomas’s alibi to John is he just came across this baby wailing up a storm.
- John thinks Tomas and his alibi are bogus.
- Tea goes back and forth with John, involving Tomas.
- Tea begs John to make sure Marty doesn’t get away.
- When no one’s looking, Tomas rings up his sidekick Calmar.
- Tea gives Tomas hell for putting himself in the middle of this Marty mess, then probes further as to the extent of his (and Todd’s) involvement.
- Tomas calmly maintains his innocence in all this to Tea. This doesn’t fly, because Tea flashes back to when Todd used every seductive trick in the book to prevent her from visiting the pool house that night.
- Blair gets wind of the all-points-bulletin on Marty.
- If John would let up on the Gestapo routine, Todd might relent and give him the facts on Liam’s true paternity. But alas…
- A fed-up John hauls Todd in for police harassment.
- Tea is even more convinced Todd and Tomas are knee-deep in this Marty debacle when she learns Todd was taken into police custody.
- Todd prepares to fulfill his word to Marty and relieve John of his DNA hell when… Todd finds out how much Brody loves being a father to that kid (Liam), and doesn’t have it in him.
- Brody admits to Tea – with Todd in the wings – that he finds fathering Liam to be a miracle.
- After an enlightening conversation with Tea, Todd thinks maybe he better not say anything about Liam.
- Roxy does her best to cheer up Natalie.
- Roxy remembers she found a cassette tape in Angel Square and is about to present it to Natalie when Brody walks through the doors with a bundle of joy.
- But it is when Brody walks through those doors with baby Liam that Natalie really cheers up.
- Natalie and Brody press lips again, getting hot under the collar.
- Natalie and Brody back away from their hot kiss, trying to live in denial, but it’s short-lived.
- Brody and Natalie can’t help but be magnetic toward each other, yearning for more. They talk about the elephant in the room, arriving at the reluctant conclusion that it’s bad all around.
- Roxy begins to fumble around with the cassette recorder and the tape inside.
- Natalie conveys to John the importance of this found tape recorder.
- Natalie and John begin to take some fumbling steps toward one another when Brody shows up.
- Joey and Aubrey go to St. Ann/St. Anne’s to retrieve baby Ryder from Ford—then must contend with Tess’s antics, like trying to be Jessica.
- Joey, for once, isn’t fooled by Tess masquerading around as Jess.
- Tess puts St. Ann’s staff through brutal psychotic hell, prompting Viki to put the hammer down.
- Viki goes to extremes – electro-shock therapy – as a mother to save Jessica from her alters.
- Viki archly alerts Ford to the impending electro-shock therapy and her wishes for him to stop bothering Jessica from now on.
- Ford gets downright depressed about never seeing Tess again after the electro-shock therapy restores Jess.
- Ford is able to voice his depression to James about the no-win situation. Same with Tess when Bess lends an impartial ear.
- Electro-shock therapy does a world of good for Tess.
- Waitress Gigi won’t attend to that bullying jackass, Jack, which annoys Blair.
- Gigi goes toe-to-toe with another she-devil (when crossed), Blair—who’s done with compassion for another mother’s bullied son.
- Jack tells a whopper to his clueless mom Blair.
- Shane hits the gym to beef up. There, Cristian shows the boy the way to manliness.
- Jack tries to intimidate Shane at the gym, but this is a new and improved Shane.
- Shane lets a barbell land on Jack’s foot—hard—then gets the giggle fits at Jack screeching like a sissy.
- Gigi tries to school Shane on the fine art of mature living in the face of ogres.
- Blair severely reprimands Jack, but he turns around and tries to give Shane a scare about what’s to come.
- Jack concocts another means of demeaning Shane by putting up a fake hot chick on My Face to lure Shane with.
- Jack sends Shane a nasty text promising doom and gloom.
- Shane responds to Jack’s threats by daring the bully to go ahead and man up if he dares.
- Rex beams with pride at his son Shane fighting back against Jack.
- Sam gets in the way of Jack and Brad’s frat-boy antics against Shane.
- Jack and Brad shoo Sam away, so they can get on with operation attack Shane.
- It’s not too hard to do, but Shane outwits Jack and his bullying minions to live another day. It’s called bachi, baby.
- Shane let Jack dig his own grave with the plotting. You see, unlike Jack, Shane isn’t stupid; he realizes this My Face chick isn’t real.
- Shane includes his mom Gigi in on Jack and Brad’s plot to do him in.
- Gigi fully expects her son Shane to stay away from trouble—Jack and Brad, while mama assesses the ordeal.
- Gigi announces to Shane that she and Rex will marry in a civil ceremony for real.
- Gigi and Shane get real with each other, just prior to her wedding with Rex. It is at this point where Shane drops a word of truth from himself to his mom.
- Gigi removes Shane from the line of possible fire by dispensing him to the courthouse first. Then, she goes to confront Jack about his BS.
- Gigi decides to go in Shane’s place to Jack and his minion’s arranged duping point. To kick some juvenile delinquent ass.
- Cristian continues to fall for the batting eyelashes and twisted lips of she-devil Rama.
- Blair tries to put Cris off Rama, who has a husband and shouldn’t be messed with.
- Cutter luxuriates in Asa’s mansion, living the life of a king. Enjoy it while it lasts, buddy.
- Cutter rats faithless Rama out to Vimal behind bars.
- Cutter’s gossip to Vimal gets back to Rama, who must corroborate her deceit.
- Things may be looking up for Vimal, as messengered by attorney Tea.
- Starr reports about her and Hope’s prison visit with Cole, when talking to James.
- Starr and James are able to separate themselves from the rest of the hectic world to get cozy.
- Before things go too far, Starr brings the loving to an end with James.
- James procures gainful employment for Deanna.

| Thanks for posting, Chris! I really don't know what to say. I SOOOOO hope we'll soon be rid of Gex!!!!!!!!! They're the main reason I have so little interest in this bullying story. Rex is nothing but a bully himself. In fact, the show is full of bullies - Brody, John, Nora, Rex, Blaire, and so on. Oh well - Y&R is good. I can count on it.
Not surprised to see John once again breaking and bending the law - villain that he is.
Todd showed that he's more honourable than John and is ready to tell John the truth but then John going all Neanderthal on him ruins it all. John would NEVER have let the truth about Sam come out but Todd was ready to let him know until John's crimes ruined it. No wonder Todd's keeping silent. That Neanderthal doesn't deserve to be a father to that precious baby, though Brody isn't much better. | |
