Did you like sleeping in your parents bed as a child?

When you were younger, did you used to enjoy sleeping in your mom and dad's bed? Did they ever used to let you sleep with them? I remember there were times when school would be a 1/2 day for me and while they were at work, I would go into their room and watch TV and fall asleep in their bed. Then I'd wake up in my own bed because my dad would come home and carry me from theirs to mine.

Not so much that I just liked sleeping with them, but I used to be afraid of the dark. They had no choice but to let me sleep in their bed because I would come right on in there. Occasionally, they tried to get slick by putting a chair behind the door or sleeping in a way I couldn't easily get in, but that never stopped me. They would just wake up to me sleeping on the floor right next to the bed. My dad accidentally stepped on me a few times.

I don't recall doing that very often.

Meh. Not really. Their bed was bigger and taller, but I wasn't in love with it.

I loved it. It was a special treat, though, but on weekend mornings, we'd be allowed to crawl in with them.

From the time I was able to figure out how to climb out of my crib and jump down, I would run down the hall and get into bed with them, especially I think if it was storming because back then I HATED thunder and lightning. Or if I was up for any reason I would grab my pillow and get in with them. I think my mother said sometimes they'd wake up and find me at the foot of the bed with my pillow and they never woke up and knew I was there until morning.

yea i did, my mamas bed always seemed more comfy... plus it seemed she had the better pillows and stuff too.

I used to stretch out and sleep in my mama and daddy's bed all the time, especially during the winter because they had an electric blanket. They never minded. When they would come in and see me or my sister in there watching TV and laying down, they would give us that time to relax before later kicking us out.

I don't remember ever sleeping in their bed. The only time I really went into the bedroom and sat on their bed was when they wanted to talk to me about something.
