My next door neighbor moved about two years ago, but didn't sell her house; she opted to rent it out. Since then about three sets of people have moved in and out. The people who lived there most recently just left, and I'm glad, because they were discourteous. The type that would walk on your grass, or stand on the edge of your driveway talking to a bunch of people.
Some new people have been subtly moving in, so we'll see how they work out.
I recall Red talking about how she leases her home–and of course I'm not trying to paint her with this brush–but in general are you more leery of people who move into a rented house? The cliche is that people who rent/lease tend to not make good neighbors. If you've had any neighbors who you were renting, have you noticed this to be true?
