    Yep! Saw a theft in progress on the wharf in New Orleans. I did get involved since I was a Harbor Police Patrolman - arrested the perp.

    He got off in court because I quite honestly said I only saw him holding the electronics and that there were three others in the back seat of his car. His case was that someone else had put them in his car and he was taking them out when I saw him. Now I coulda easily said I saw him putting it in the car (which I know was the case) but I was one of those rare, honest cops who reported what I saw, not what I knew.
