| We've all seen the scenario before; a couple's marriage is in trouble, and so they become hellbent on trying to have a baby, thinking that a child will further bond them. The general consensus is 'no,' but do you think that it's at all possible that a baby can help mend a troubled relationship? | |

| It may be a good excuse to try but IMO, you gotta want it. The problem is that people don't really want it these days. | |

| It may delay it but I doubt very much it can fix it. | |

| Trying to save a marriage by having a baby is a very bad idea. It's not impossible for it to work but the odds are just too long for something that important. | |

| Hell to the nah. I knew a girl in school who's parents had her solely for trying to keep the family together. They broke up when she was 6. | |

| No. Don't use a baby as glue. It's weak glue. | |

| No way. A newborn baby is a stress due to how difficult the sleepless nights are, finaces, and the fact that arguments arise when people figure out who does what care. | |

I agree. Adding a baby to an unhappy marriage will only compound matters even more. A screaming newborn will make two already unhappy people even more miserable. | |

| Nope. I think is most cases, a baby just makes it worse and then when the couple does split, the baby is caught in the middle. | |
