    Crash (2004) Crash

Did you see 2004s Crash? If so, what did you think of it? Did it deserve the 'Best Picture' Oscar?

It was okay. I think the cast was too "name"-heavy....hell, they even had Tony Danza in it for Godsake. But it made its point.

It was entertaining for a single viewing; I choked up when Lorenz Tate's characters mother broke down upon hearing news of his death from her estranged and pretentious older son played by Don Cheadle. That said, I haven't had much desire to watch it again. Agree w/Marc about the cast being over cluttered with 'names.'

As for the question of it deserved to win the 'Best Picture' Oscar, probably not.
