Sure. However, since people from both sides of the isle seem to rule any kind of male affections as homosexual, it likely won't happen.

Hell yeah, I'd like somebody who is opposed to the idea to explain what harm could it do? Society encourages it with men and women and women and women, why are the men getting the short end of this stick?

Yeah but our oh so modern and liberated society is so Puritanic on this one that it still views men as being gay if they DO act affectionate with each other, they don't do that with two women who do the same thing.

I agree men should feel comfortable enough if they want to be affectionate towards each other.

It is probably quite unnatural for heterosexual males to embrace affectionately. I think they are hardwired to be combative & competitive even with friends and it would feel awkward even without the cultural conditioning we have in the U.S.
However, I have been in other cultures in the Mediterranean where str8 men do embrace and will be seen walking down the street hand-in-hand. So, it's probably just a fucked up American attitude.

Big Bro! Remember 1 thing, there is an exception to the male affection rule: Italian guys can hug and kiss each other and's not remotely gay! Cause Italians are cool like that!

Your right Shale, in my family all the males kiss and hug one another there is no shame there. It is indeed the American attitude.

Remember when the movie "Stand By Me" was looked at as a fun, adventurous, realistic portrayal of friendship between young boys? Yeah, that was back in the 80's. Now everyone between the ages of 12 and 25 thinks that movie is GAY and that all of the characters were gay simply because they were affectionate towards each other.
