Aside from issues pertaining to physical development that starts to occur at around ages nine or ten, do you think that there is a major difference between how boys and girls should be raised?

I don't think so because aside from the biological part, what part of their upbringing IS going to be different? Of course some people would figure this is where you need to treat girls more like girls and such, like we don't know and the kids don't know what sex they have we have to emphasize it through society's stereotypes, I don't go for that at all: I wasn't a pink girl, I hated wearing dresses, I didn't care about having a boyfriend, there are reasons why I've always fit in with the guys and this was despite my mother's attempts to make me more ladylike.

In general, no.....but there are things you would groom your son or daughter to in keeping with the 'tradition' of raising a boy and a girl. I know personally, I don't want to raise any girls.
