Rex and Gigi weren't married, so Rex has no standing to interfere with Gigi's wish to be an organ donor. Step aside Rex.

I think he should find a way to have Shane interfere. IMO, Clint doesn't deserve her heart.

That seems like a load to me. I think they should go to court to fight for Shane's rights. At the very least, Clint may croak before it's settled. And heck, it's in Tea's best interest to keep Gigi's heart in her chest.

Typical Rex. Shows how little Gigi meant to him that he's going against her wishes, especially her dying wishes. Even if Clint doesn't get the heart other people could benefit from what Gigi wanted to do.

HER wishes were for him to be able to make medical decisions for her. The idea that merely signing a donor card means you want your organs ripped from you before your family is ready to let go is just absurd.

Well if she didn't want her organs ripped from her then she would not have signed the organ donor card. This whole storyline dosen't make sense, she signed the organ donor but yet she has a health care proxy for Rex to make medical decisions. It was just a convenient way for the writers to give Clint the Edge and give Rex the power over him. If a person signs an organ donor card then they want their organs donated to save another life or they never would have signed it to begin with.

I disagree. In PA, signing the donor card is as simple as checking a box on your driver's license. But also, even if you want your organs donated, it doesn't mean you want to be taken off life support before your family is ready. Gigi explicitly had it said in writing that she wanted REX to make the decision.

I think both are very compatible. Gigi wants her organs donated after her family lets go, but she wants Rex making decisions as to when to let go.

ITA Tony! I"M sure we'll see that scumbag selling the organ to Clint. Clint really was right about him all along. He just wants Clint's money. Then he'll use the money to go after Jack. Too bad someone didn't go after HIM with the same vengeance when he forged Sam's death certificate and brought all that havoc to Llanview. Things might have been a LOT different had he not forged a death. Marty sure wouldn't have been kidnapped by Ramsey 'cause Ramsey never would have come to town.

So much for Rex respecting Gig's dying wish. What a creep! He's goign to deny other people, just be cause of his need for revenge on Clint'. The heart isn't the only organ and now others might die because of Rex's selfishness and need for revenge over Gig's wishes.
