Now that it's summer, do you ever take your food outside to eat, or do you prefer to keep it indoors?

I eat my dinner outside sometimes but only if its a humid free night (which is rare in the summer here) or if I am barbecuing food. I like to have my breakfast outside in the morning when its quiet and cool, I relax and drink my coffee and get ready to start the day.

Bugs and the onlooking neighbor children make it difficult but it is nice when possible.

The reality eating outdoors isn't as nice as the thought.

In my town most of the restaurants have tables outside, on the sidewalk. Which at first glance looks like fun, but then you have people walking by who don't care if their purses or bags bump your elbow, or walk their dogs through the table area, so it isn't something I would want to do.
Except for some restaurants, which have a fenced off little area that no one enters except diners and servers. That I would consider. But not on a windy day.

I do as long as it is not windy and I am picking random things out of my food that have blown in.

Just at cookouts. We don't have a outdoor table large enough for even two people.

If I'm at a cookout I'll eat outside, but I don't make it a point to.

Re: Do you like to eat dinner outside?
No. I like to be inside watching a movie/tv. Outside is good for movement, relaxation and writing, though. Sometimes.
