We're all sinners. What are some of the things you indulge in that the good book says are no-no's?

Just to put myself on blast: I've never been married, but am not a virgin.

I lay with man. And it's awesome.

I also look at myself in the mirror.

And I wear shirts made of blended fabrics.

I touch myself and spill my seed to the ground.

I fornicate and love eating shrimp.

Gimme a list of all the no-nos and I'll get back to you.

Taking the Bible in it's actual context, and given the entire book, and not just isolated verses, I try to not do anything that the Bible forbids. I fall, but "indulge" suggests I don't make any effort and that's simply not true.

Now, of course, a lot of people like misrepresenting the Bible. Not surprising. Many Christians can't even get it right, so non-believers, I don't expect to either. So I am sure I can predict the responses to this post. (*gets out Crystal ball.)

But no, in terms of what is actually forbidden, I try to avoid it all.

Like FM said, there is a difference between having committed a sin and "indulging" in sin. I am a fairly honest person and I would be quite offended if someone had ever referred to me as a liar. But the fact is, I have not gone through my entire life without EVER having told a lie.

Yeah, one of the biggest biblical misunderstandings was when Onan was smitten by god for pulling out of his dead brother's wife and shooting off on the floor.

Never was one for Bible alone. Bible alone theology leads to basically no Bible at all. People have made it so they don't believe in sin anymore, at all. The very topic seems kind of loaded as a "mock" of the idea of sin anyway.

I disagree. And I don't think that Chris' intention was to "mock" sin, so much as find out just how "sinful" the people who frequent these boards are, and just how open they are about admitting them.
