We once talked about mom's cooking, and how good a cook she was, how about dad? Was/is your father a good cook? Growing up, did he and your mother share the cooking responsibilities?

LOL. I think my father cooked scrambled eggs for me once. They weren't bad. I'm a much better cook than either of my parents.

He cooks fried chicken and that's about it, he will sometimes cook other stuff but it's always too disgusting to eat because he likes the meat raw, the rice gumbo, etc.

My father is pretty good cook actually. He hardly did it, opting instead to usually leave that chore up to my mother...but when he was forced to cook, it was always pretty good for the most part.

My dad was much, much more limited in the kitchen than my mom, but what he DID know (breakfast, burgers, fries, chicken, spaghetti), he could hook up. My fathers burgers and fries were ALWAYS on point.

My Dad makes the BEST breakfasts - restaurant style - and he's pretty decent in the kitchen for other meals, too - best fried rice even - and he's great on the BBQ.

My father didn't really start cooking until after he and my mother broke up. He's decent.
