    If you live in a house, is your front porch big enough for chairs and whatnot, or is it basically just a walkway.

    yes, its big enough. what we have out there now is a couch type thing and my roommates grill.

    Ours is not. It is just a walk. We could put chairs between the two doors of the duplex, but that would look funny. We have a decent patio for that.
