Chitlings I never had but I know I don't like, pig feet I never liked, and okra I don't like.

I too come from the 'soul food' heritage and have never put a pig foot in my mouth. Chitlins and head cheese were not eaten as well. Never liked buttermilk
I like all the country vegies, especially okra (fried or boiled).

I don't know if I can say "from my heritage"...

Yeah, I never even attempted to try it. Nobody in myfamily makes it anyway. Soul food is good....it's just that most of that pork shit they can keep.
