Do you like long hair on older people–women and men–or do you think that it becomes less appealing with age?

IMO long aint a good look past 40 on men or women.

I like long hair, but not on men unless it's dreads. I will prob. never cut my hair so for women, I think it's appealing. Hair is a woman's crown.

It's not appealing on an old man. On a woman....eh....I guess it all depends. By and large though I think shorter cuts make women look more sophisticated (which compliments aging), whereas long hair makes them look more playful (which may or may not go well with a 60 year old face.)

Not appealing on men but ITA with Marc that some women can make it work - depends on the style and colour.

I think it depends on the man. Some can pull it off. Just as long hair doesn't always look good on some older women. But the man has to have a full head of hair.

I would still have long hair if half of it didn't fall out. Sorta looks like a worn out mop and the hassle of taking care of long hair is not worth it.

It depends on how well its kept up, styled and how long it is. If it's ear-to-shoulder length, that's fine. Past the shoulders, and into 12 year old girl territory, not so much. I think that makes some women look older, and less refined, as they age.
