I shiver with anticipation! Looks like they have some cool guest stars. Wasn't that Mos Def, Edward James Olmos and Colin Hanks? I was wondering what would happen to Debra's character now that he and Jennifer Carpenter are getting a divorce.

Is Dexter a good show? I think I saw one episode, but couldn't really follow it. My image of that guy is as the conservative, uptight and nervous David from Six Feet Under. Seems like the character he plays here is the polar opposite of that.

Dexter is a great show...except for last season, which sucked like a truckload of Hoovers. But from the trailer it looks like Dexter is back. Dexter is nothing like David. At all.

The skipped forward in time a little, didn't they? Like with LaGuerta's and Batista's divorce? I loved it when Dexter had to tell himself to just shut up.

The show definitely has lost some edge compared to the first 4 seasons. Not sure I'm liking the apparent religious theme of this season.

Anything is better than that season 5 clusterfuck that I'm pretending never existed. The religious theme is a little worrisome. It is causing viewers on both sides to freak out. Those two

I like it so far but I'll be shocked if this season will compare to season 4 which is the best of the series next to season 1 imo.

I was impressed with the Mos Def character. He's playing it really well. Can't tell if he's really turned around or not.

I've heard about this. Hope it gets resolved in a reasonable way. I want an actual ending to Dexter too. Just not sure what I want to happen. Part of me wants him to get away. Don't want an execution. But I think getting caught will probably be inevitable. If the show can hang on that long anyway.
