It was a pick-up truck that I no longer needed for practical purposes and things started to go on it.

The engine went out. Upkeep & repairs were getting waaaaayyyy too expensive and didnt make sense.

I live pretty far away from work and shop even further away. I drove a 2005 Jeep Liberty that was pretty good on gas (for an SUV), but ultimately not very economical considering the distances that I have to drive on a regular basis. Therefore, I bought something a little friendlier on gas (2010 Hyundai Elantra). Plus, after 5 years I thought it was time to have a "new" car. I tend to buy a new car every 5 years.
