Money would be nice. But honestly I just need the bills to be paid. I'd rather be happy than have a pocket full of money & miserable.

Well paid and boring. There is a difference between boring and simply hating what you do. I can tolerate being bored. I rather be bored than broke.

How about a middle-paying job with contentment? 
I guess it depends on how boring and how good the pay, and also how much work is required. If the boring job gives me a lot of free time to have a side job I like, I could live with it.
