Have you ever suffered from Internet withdrawal, when you couldn't get online? Admittedly, yesterday night and most of today, during our blackout, I was mostly angsty about being offline. I can't stand not being to get on. Does a interrupted internet connection get under your skin?

Oh yeah, when the cable's down, all the time I'll think of something to look up and it's like 'oh damn, I can't yet!'

Yeah - I usually look for alternate sources. I have a backup computer that I have plugged into the DSL and once when the DSL went out I plugged into the fone line and went dial-up for a day or two.

Yep. Not so much now, but back in the day when I first got on....it would've been torture. I think slow motherfucking internet connection is much worse than not being able to get online.

I suppose if I were in a situation like yours I would maybe have some withdrawal. When I was away for almost 2 weeks I didn't have internet access and I didn't miss it.
