I forgot that a couple's baby had passed away at a few weeks old. I saw the baby's grandfather a long time after and asked him how the two grandkids were, only for him to have to remind me of the death of the girl. That really sucked and it was years ago, and I still feel awful for that.

I forgot the colors of a co-workers wedding. Then when a group of us got together and were talking about our least and fav colors I said that I hated red cause I think that it white outs the bridesmaids faces... of course red was the wedding color!
