I live in an apartment and all walls are apartment, neutral white. Which is OK since my wall hangings determine the decor.
I have several black & whit fotos to which it is a good background.

My scheme is a lot of earth tones, browns, beige, wood, to me its a very masculine scheme.

Nope. Just "apartment" white on the walls. Nothing clashes but there's no common scheme.
