Things you're almost afraid to ask

Do you ever come up with a question and then wonder if you'd actually want to know the answer, or how the person who answers KNOWS the answer? It's like when I was reading goofs on the Haunting in Connecticut movie, I think that was it, somebody mentioned that is NOT have grave robbers steal bodies, that they run a noose down into the grave, get it around the corpse's neck and pull them out of the coffin, how do you come by that knowledge?

Anyway, here are a couple of mine, anybody else has some, feel free to join in:

1. We've all seen the ads for Viagara and its generic knockoffs, and they all say if you have an erection that lasts more than 4 hours, go to the hospital...exactly WHAT are the doctors going to do to treat that?

2. Anybody here see the movie, or at least the trailer for the movie Dead Silence? Does a corpse's mouth really hang open that big when its tongue is cut out? Oh, and on a side note, why does one corpse look like a Conehead?

The only questions I have that others know the answers to I don't ask if I don't want to know how they know.

Distal shunts, such as the Winter's, involve puncturing the glans (the distal part of the penis) OUCH! into one of the cavernosa, where the old, stagnant blood is held. This causes the blood to leave the penis and return to the circulation. This procedure can be performed by a urologist at the bedside. Winter's shunts are often the first invasive technique used, especially in hematologic induced priapism, as it is relatively simple and repeatable over time."

So there are things to do that only doctors should attempt, if the ice packs and squeezing the blood back out don't work.
