25-year-old has twins in bathroom, kills them so parents won't know

I saw this one on the news the other day. I don't get it, so she lives with her parents, so what? She's 25 years old, a damn adult, why does it matter if her parents find out she's pregnant? Also, her father called the cops when he found the dead babies so clearly he thought their murder was worse than the fact that she had them. AND, it doesn't say it in this report but on the news they said she left the bodies in that laundry basket for TWO DAYS, did she really think they would never be found? AND, the one thing I absolutely do not get, why do all these mothers think murdering their children is easier than just giving them up for adoption or leaving them at a church or fire station?

That is just sick, how can anyone sane kill an innocent baby let alone 2 of them.

She should be sterilized, plain and simple.

Clearly she is not all there. Not that that excuses such a terrible act.

I have a friend in Canada who told me they have a similar case there, a woman had a baby boy in the bathroom, strangled him with her underwear, threw him in the garbage, and she gets basically 3 years probation, no prison time because sabes que 'we need to feel sorry for the mother too, she suffers too' or some crap like that. What the hell? Why is it okay to murder babies when they haven't done anything wrong but people go to the mat to preserve the life of cold blooded killers because 'all life is precious' when a newborn baby's has about as much worth as an ant's to step on?

I read about that the other day. Since that's probably an insanity plea, go ahead and sterilize her.

People say this is a slippery slope because that's what Hitler tried to do, but if you are responsible for the intentional MURDER of a child, furthermore YOUR OWN CHILD, why SHOULD you be allowed to have more kids? Are we trying to send a message it's okay to kill kids as long as they're you're own?

Crazy alone ain't enough to do that, a person would have to be without a conscience and have no regard for life in the first place.

Well her parents sure know she was pregnant now.
