It's a big area of open skin, a nice area for art. Some ppl don't get the appeal or point of putting a tat on any part of the body. The butt is just another patch of skin to ink if you are into tats.Supernova wrote:Am I the only one who doesn't get what the appeal or even the point of this is?

I suppose the only point would be to entertain whoever else sees it. I have no tattoos but if I do get one it will go where I can see it myself.

Exactly, what point in getting a tattoo you need a mirror, or two, to see if it was done right?

Two types of people ink their butt. The first kind are those who have an appreciation for the art of it, and are using that area to have more ink on their body. The second is the type who really only want to be able to say they have ink, but don't want hardly anyone to see it.

My niece has various 'ttoos here, there, and probably everywhere. She said that they are addicting. I'll admit, that startled me a bit.

My arm is the only place I'd get tattoo. Butts, chest, back, legs, stomach, face, etc. is off limits.

True. I have five now and have noticed there is an addiction to get more. To sit there and let someone put permanent ink in your skin, creating a personal statement and art that you wear.
Got the first one - a memorial butterfly tat to my wife that I designed. Then within a month got my second, a Scorpion I designed. I have gotten three more and would like to get another but haven't decided what.
Since I have two that are not my design (peace symbol and Om) I may get a yin/yang symbol to balance it.

i dont have any tats piercings not my thing.... but in my fantasy world of sex and play in my head.... my bf has his name tat on my butt... dont ask why... probably my weird fantasy of permanence in a relationship that i put into the tat

All my other tats were on South Beach, where they are on every block. But I found this guy in North Beach running distance from my home. The lettering is not the most accurate, but it'll do. IDK yet, Will find out by tomorrow. However, it did hurt more than usual. Maybe because it was a lot more inking than the other tats, but coulda been location.
