    I don't have any tattoos but I would never get a tattoo of someone's name even if it was my child.

    Doubt I would even get my son's name.

    My step daughter lost her dorm mate two years ago, and all the girls in the dorm room got matching tats of her name and angel wings. I did not like that at all...one day, real life is going to happen, and when the three no longer even talk to each other, I doubt that they are going to appreciate the ink. Maybe they will? But I think once they have families all their own, they are going to regret the tribute.

    I have two tats of ppl's names - both deceased partners.

    My first tat was the butterfly I designed for me and Brenda and I later added our names.

    Then I put the glyph that first attracted Jim's attention, with our names.
